Front Desk
The Front Desk Volunteer is responsible for greeting
visitors, providing information and answering questions, directing
visitors to the appropriate staff person and assisting in the maintenance
of the hospice lending library. It is critical that the Front Desk
Volunteer be friendly and helpful, while on duty at the front desk,
as they are the first impression of Hospice.
Time Commitment: Each volunteer commits to one
3 hour per week.
Shifts are 8-11:00, 11:00 - 2:00 and 2:00 - 5:00, Monday through
Friday.
How to Apply:
1. Fill out and submit the Volunteer Application
Packet. You can either email it to Volunteers@hlchospice.org or
print it out and send it to: Hospice of Larimer County Attn: Volunteer
Services 305 Carpenter Rd. Fort Collins, CO 80525
2. You will be invited to meet with the volunteer
services manager. At this meeting, we will determine if the position
is a good fit for your skills, interests and schedule.
3. Front Desk training is offered twice a year.
During your meeting with the volunteer services manager, you will
either be signed up for the next training or an individual training
will be scheduled.
4. You will be required to complete an OSHA and
Confidentiality self-study packet and post-quiz.
