Training and Continuing Education
Prospective volunteers begin by filling out an
application packet and scheduling an interview the volunteer services
department.
If you are interested in working with patients
and families, you will need to attend a volunteer training. Hospice
of Larimer County offers this training twice a year, in the spring
and fall. The training is required for Patient Care, Grief Support
and Hospice Care Center volunteers.

Many have called our 20-hour volunteer training
a "life changing experience." Volunteers may then attend modules
specific to the area of volunteering they are interested in.
Workshops and continuing educational opportunities
are available throughout the year for HLC volunteers.
